Notice of Destruction of Special Education Records

Notice is hereby given that the Special Education Department intends to destroy special education records (due process forms and evaluation data) for students who graduated, transferred, or exited special education services during or prior to the 2019-20 school year.

In accordance with state and federal regulations, these records are no longer needed to provide educational services. Please note: These files are not permanent school records; permanent records (grades, attendance, and transcripts) are maintained indefinitely by the district.

Parents or eligible adult students have the right to claim these records prior to destruction before September 30, 2026:
